If not they replayed it in the last hour.
It is actually around the 3:30 time slot, and it is a very good interview so far.
1. I was a little disappointed to hear that Ricketts isn't considering hiring a baseball executive to replace Kenney. That is the one downer I've heard so far. (IOW, to him, the expoitation of the "product" is more important than putting together a good baseball team).

2. He also mentioned that he wants to balance the quantitative side of talent evaluation with the more old school way of running things, which is interesting. He doesn't sound like a hardcore Sabremetrician. (IOW, he's heard a few of the buzzwords, like OPS, but what he's really looking for are 5-tool guys...you, know, athletes.)

Fixed.
Sounds as if what I was reading between the lines (from my earlier post yesterday) was 100% correct. I can just imagine Ricketts and Hendry and Gary Hughes sitting around, planning out our team's future. Whee.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
