I haven't seen this movie but this is one of the dumbest things I've read in a while. If the movie is any good it should be good regardless of where you watch it.

Well, that might be true for most kinds of films, but some movie experiences are in fact better with a group of people and on a big screen with full theater sound. You can't really duplicate the atmosphere at home. You could literally hear and feel people's unease throughout most of the theater while watching Paranormal. I'm not saying that you can't enjoy this at home, and I do disagree with the writer in that regard, but I also wouldn't tell anyone to wait for this to come out on DVD. You sort of need to experience this in the theater to enjoy it fully.
