Not seeing the alternates, I can't say for certain...but I like the sound of the last one Andy listed -- it seems to fit with the overall story better. Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie, but the idea of Katie still "at large" as some sort of rogue demon isn't as dark and creepy as the demon possessing her, having her kill Micah and then herself. Given that the demon supposedly had been pursuing her for years and wanted to truly "possess" her, personally I would have thought that an ending where she slit her own throat would have been a little odd. It may work, but I'm not sure. Suicide endings have become kinda cliche IMO.
