what do you mean?

According to Desipio, no one else was offering Bradley better than $16M over two years and the question is posed..."Who the hell was (Hendry) bidding against?"
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
See, that puts me in a spot. On one hand, there is simply no denying that Hendry had a terrible offseason. On the other hand, there is so much bullshit in that article, I could argue it for days. However, I'll then be accused of being an apologist for Hendry. And I don't want to apologize for Hendry's 2008-2009 offseason. I'll just leave it at this. How the FUCK does Disipio know who was offering what last offseason?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I doubt that they know exactly how much TB offered Bradley, and it appears that they are assuming it was the same amount as Burrell ended up signing for with them. It was very likely somewhere in that range, though I can't prove it.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
And it completely ignores the fact the Nationals were supposedly very interested in Bradley, and if that was true, were likely willing to OVERPAY to get him to come to that disaster of a team.

I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.
