Which is what you'd expect from a 55-run difference in run-differential. The Cards were not this amazing juggernaught, and we didn't totally suck. They won 91 games. Had Bradley played closer to his ability, and Aramis played 150 games, we probably win 91 too, and like Twins-Tigers, are looking at a playoff. (Ok, maybe we only win 88 or so. Who knows?)
Makes you wonder why we didn't try to match all of those mid-season moves the Cards made this year; without Holliday, DeRosa, etc., it's probably a race that goes down to the wire.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
