He was still catching up until constructs just recently. He's been moved to second base indefinitely. He's actually a well thought of hitter but he broke his hamate bone so it has really set him back. I'm hopeful he'll be up there in these lists some day soon.
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->The biggest disappointment would seem to be Ryan Flaherty. Did he just have a terrible season or something?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
A bit disappointing yes. It looks like he's not going to be able to stick at SS so that takes him down a notch. Also, from what I've been told he has had a very unlucky year. He had a very low BABIP with a decent line drive % meaning he was hitting the ball right at defenders. He had a pretty good second half and ended up finishing at .276/.344/.470. Really a pretty good line, but I think a lot of people had expectations of finishing in AA by the end of the year. He didn't even make it up to A+ because of his early season struggles and he turned 22 years old in July.
If he starts in AA next year and does well, he'll be right back in the thick of things. He did have a mediocre season, but his drop on my list has more to do with the high production from the other guys above him.
