Yes, with a walkoff homer. Does that mean we're out?

To answer Ace's question, I think Soriano's woes were a bigger disaster than Aram's injury and injured play. An 85 OPS+ from a corner outfielder? A poor-fielding one at that.

In Alf's defense, I have no doubt that he was injured too. An he only played in 117 games.
Cub fans have sure been fucked in regards to Alf's health (<!--coloro:#FFFF00--><!--/coloro-->"THAT'S WHY YOU DON'T SIGN OLD GUYS TO LONG-TERM DEALS !!! "<!--colorc-->
<!--/colorc-->).
But seriously...he was a freaking iron-man before he got here. In the 6 seasons before he got here, he averaged about 7 missed games played per year. Since he's become a Cub, he's missed 27 games, 53 games, and this year, 45 games.

Once again, I lament that guys like Lee and Fuk had their good years in a lost cause.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
