Agree that Harden had a disappointing year.
There were times in July and August that you could write down 6 innings and less than 3 ER for each of his starts. Other than Lilly, I don't know if the Cubs had another pitcher that can meet or better that performance during that timeframe.

On the other hand, remember at the beginning of the season, there was a lot of talk about spreading Harden's starts out and getting him extra days off in order to keep him fresh/healthy? He always pitches better with a little extra time off and we knew that going into the season. That plan never really materialized. He was pretty much out there every 5 games.
