Why?
As the article stated, the last player to get a suspension of this magnitude was well over a decade ago, when Albert Belle whipped a fastball at a fan's head.
How does Milton blowing off a little steam in an interview remotely compare?

The last Bradley incident was just the latest in a season-long bitch-fest. He's been a total douchebag all season long. He didn't get suspended for that one interview. He got suspending because it was the straw that broke the camel's back.
You know what else? Hendry is saving Bradley from getting completely shat on by the fans during our last
homestand. Think about how brutal it would be out the during the last few games. He has called Cubs fans racist, says he can't wait to get out of dodge. Has said he isn't surprised at all that the team has a 100 year World Series drought. Fuck him. I'm sick of hearing about him.
The two week suspension was probably overkill. But do you think Bradley is at all upset about it? He'll no. That pussy is relieved that he won't have to hear it from those mean ol' fans in the bleachers.

I don't want to argue with you about this, because it's obvious that you're passionate about this, but that post is such a complete exaggeration that it could've been stolen directly from Muskat.
I thought he was quite well-behaved, except for a couple minor incidents. We ALL expected a lot worse...we had threads dedicated to predicting when and where he'd go off. He never really even did.
He's simply having a sub-par year. That's what all this is about. 110% of it.

Which part was exaggerated? No, he hasn't done anything outrageous (that we know about), but he's been a distraction all season long. He's whined, complained, and generally been douchey. Then he criticized the organization and the fans (for the umpteenth time). Fucking enough already.
And you know what? As has already been suggested, there's probably something not being reported that went down. Lou called him "a piece of shit." Absolutely nobody in the clubhouse is coming to his defense. Even Ramirez -- who hardly ever says a word -- said something like (paraphrased), "If Bradley doesn't want to be on the team, then he should go." Nobody wants him here.
The point I think you're making (and I agree), is that if he put up numbers like he did in Texas last season, then this kind of shit can get ignored. But to be honest, if he's putting up those kind of numbers, then the fans aren't booing him and he isn't whining. So everything would be just peachy.
He clearly can't handle the spotlight here. Let him go. We'll survive without him.
