Their stats are actually pretty similar this season, but Burrell could thrive back in the NL. At least he has had some years of consistent 30 HR, 90 RBI production with OPSs around .900. If we're going to trade a bad contract for another, he's a good risk to take.
There was a rumor in NY that the Mets might be interested in Bradley if we took Oliver Perez off their hands. Intriguing, but I think I'd pass, mainly because of the length of his contract.
