That actually was worse than 2003. First team to ever win the first two games in a 5 game championship series and manage to lose the next 3 (at least that's my recollection). Sutcliffe goes 16-1 in the regular season, wins the first playoff game (including hitting a homer) and then manages to have a bad game in game 5. Plus, we've got the Leon Durham ball through the legs. It was awful.
