D Lee wasn't playing in the Mets game.
Most of the guys on the site have a kid or two, and thus you know full well how little Lee had to "be there for his wife" for a 2nd missed game. There are usually LOTS of family around, friends, medical people, nannies (in their case, likely), etc.

That's the thing. Lou has looked exasperated since last year's playoffs. He can't even form full sentences when answering questions on a daily basis. Does anyone really expect him to get any better by next season. It's obvious this team needs new leadership, and the sooner the better.
