I'm pretty confident in that. He's not earning his pay, but he doesn't suck by any means.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
"not earning his pay" is the key phrase there. when did we start letting guys off the hook for "not earning their pay"? bradley has played well lately, after the cubs began their slide. coincidence? maybe, maybe not, but the fact remains that he's underperformed.
i find it funny that in defending bradley, rok and scarey used terms like "middle of the road" and "not earning his pay." i expect more than that from my players. you guys should too.
having said that, i defended bradley through most of his troubles. i really started turning on him when he failed to keep his mouth shut. players have bad years, but that doesn't mean they should be pussies about it.
personally, i'd love to see him traded. i think he's mentally weak. i also doubt that trade is going to happen. if he can put together a full year of playing like he has lately, i'll cut him some slack. alou did it, so i guess this guy can too. i have my doubts though.

If you really wanna get so caught up on how much Bradley is making and how it relates to his production... I think you need to know he's only making 5 million this year. I'd say he has earned his pay this year. Yeah, he'll have to preform better going forward, but he's still not even making that much in 2010 and 2011 compared to Aramis and Soriano.
As far as not keeping his mouth shut, at least this one actually pertains to Bradley exclusively But really... who the fuck cares?
