Not excusing it, but part of the reason some of our guys get booed is because of our moronic sportswriters (I'm including Steve Stone in that bunch, even though he isn't technically a sportswriter).
Again, nobody (except tom, perhaps) is excusing the behavior. I'm just saying it isn't unique to Wrigley -- like many people seem to think.
