MLB.TV is cutting deals...Roku...iPhone. Your net-capable Blu-ray may well get access. The only reason for MLB.tv not to rush into the arms of every device out there is that they wouldn't want to undermine their deal with DitrectTV and the cable operators...or get sued for that matter. If they enable your Samsung, they create an opportunity to sign another subscriber after all.
