Yes Butch, that place. The place where the Cubs told Abreu's agent that they were going to sign Bradley AFTER they cleared salary. The place where the people actually responsible for the budget said we needed to clear money. The place where Hendry, not being a fucking retard, had to decide BETWEEN DeRosa and Bradley, and didn't turn down the chance to keep both. The place where the people who's actual money is being spent get to decide where to spend it, not fans on a message board. I know 3 million isn't a lot to you, but apparently the people who make the Cubs budget decided it was.

For magic butcher land to be a real place, either Abreu is lying, or the Cubs for no apparent reason, lied to him. In reality land, the Cubs didn't sign Bradley until after DeRosa and Marquis, along with their salaries, were traded, just like Abreu said.
