Now THIS part might be a trick of memory...that Steve was in the booth and not out in the bleachers with Harry. I'm not confident in that part of my memory.

The implication is that Harry last pulled the shirtless stunt in '82 and that's just not possible. I lived where I had no access to WGN in '82 and I pretty much watched the entire '84 season in Evanston while recovering from surgery. In fact, I was still in the hospital on opening day.

you know, you're right. steve did do some games in the bleachers, but not right away. harry was solo in the early years.

Steve and Chip did games there. At least I'm sure I remember Chip, though I guess at one point Carter was his partner.
