For the first time all year, i am legitimately scared of the Cards. It seems like freaking yesterday when Pujols not only had no protection, it was like he was on an island. Now their 2-3-4-5 is DeRosa, Pujols having the best season of his career, Holliday on fire, and a suddenly hot Ludwick.
That's a serious gauntlet to run for any pitcher. I hate this.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I've been worried for awhile and am now looking as much at the WC race as I am the division.
Their next 10 games are 1 at the Mets, 3 at the Pirates(Carp & Wainwright going), 3 vs. the Reds, 3 vs. the Padres(Carp & Wainwright going). That's why I'm so freaking pissed about tonight.

The Cardinals seem to play to the competition almost as much as the Cubs do though.
