Really. I think you're getting carried a way just a bit. I could name many scarier scenes in the movie Seven for instance. I must just not get it, because that scene didn't scare me, chill me, or anything like that.

Not getting carried away at all.
Seven didn't scare me -- it was so overblown and over the top that it never felt realistic to me. Don't get me wrong -- I liked Seven and thought it was a good movie. But it didn't scare me.
If that scene didn't affect you in any way, I'm giving up on you and Taxi Driver.

holy shit, "se7en" is easily one of the greatest movies ever. that one stuck with me for weeks. up until "benjiman button" david fincher was becoming one of my top 3 directors of all time. blaspemy or not, i'll watch "se7en" over any scorcese movie and not blink an eye.
