I thinkt hat sometimes there's a fine line between being stubborn and over-confident. You obviously like to see the overconfidence in this case. Marmol has made batters look downright foolish at times and maybe he's a combination of both stubborn and confident by thinking nobody can hit this slider, despite it being a ball. Either way, it'd be nice if he relied on that gauranteed strike in the 2-0 or 2-1 count rather than 3-0. Didn't Maddux always say the most important pitch count was the 2-1?
