They never showed the replay, but it almost looked like Kemp started in on that ball. It was a shot, but I think Kemp fucked that up.

It was smoked and there's not a tougher play in baseball than being in center field for that. He did start in, but even if he sprints back, I highly doubt he catches that ball which was also tailing to right-center. All of the blame should be on Torre for pitching to the best player in the world there where a hit wins it regardless. Take your chances against a guy hitting 30-40 points lower next.
