I don't buy Rasmus. He's currently number 9 in NL rookie batter VORP, right behind Jake Fox. Granted, he has far more plate appearances than anyone but Dexter Fowler, and, granted, homers influence votes more than VORP, but he isn't exactly raking (a .746 OPS?).
Incidentally, many NL rookie pitchers have far higher VORPs, including Wells.
