Nice to see.
Anyone else seriously starting to drink the Randy Wells kool aid? I mean I know its still early(for him anyway) but it can't be a fluke by now can it?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I'm liking Randy Wells a lot. His K/9 ratio is the only thing that concerns me. A lot of outs on balls in play -- he doesn't miss a ton of bats.
But if he can keep doing it, then great.

He does it hitting his spots though, he wants them to put the bat on the ball on most of his pitches like Maddux did. When he hits the middle of the plate though, that's when he gets crushed as has happened a few times in the last month. Thankfully he doesn't do it too much now. Dude gets it, really understands how to "pitch" more than any rookie pitcher I've seen in a long time. He's incredibly composed out there as well.
I feel maybe the most confident when he's on the mound. You know he's pretty much always going to give you a chance to win.
