That was the right move. You could have left him in left or right, or brought in Fuk for defense<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
No offense, that's stupid. If you burn him, you run the risk of having Mike Fontenot catching if Hill gets hurt.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
not if you leave him in left or right.

I was referring to where you said bring in Fukudome for defense.

All I'm saying is there were options.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Fontenot as backup catcher is an option?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
For 2 innings, sure (it's already happened when Fox came in as a defensive replacement for Hill). So is putting Fox in left or right.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Fox may not be good defensively as a catcher, but he is a catcher. That's what he was in college and where he played for his first few years in the minors.
I'm not sure that there's many worse ideas than relying upon a non-catcher to catch.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.
