Really? The guy threw the baseball with the intent of hurting someone and you think 16 years is too much? It wasn't some 10 year old kid throwing the ball, this was a guy that can throw 90 miles per hour. He could have killed someone. I don't care what happens to this guy.

Well he wasn't actually trying to throw the ball into the stands. Is this really all that different than the Ben Christensen incident, which actually did hurt someone? He didn't go to jail.

He was trying to throw the ball at the opposing dugout. He should be punished for being a pitcher and missing his target by 5 feet.
