Why not? Baker was on a rehab assignment.

I think there is a rule that says a player cannot be traded while he's on the DL. It's easy for Colorado because they can activite Baker and then trade him to us. Not so for the Cubs since Miles won't be eligible to come off the DL for another week. One way around the rule is to make the trade for a PTBNL.
