Umm, no, it didn't. In that game, Zambrano let up 3 earned runs. He let up 9 baserunners in 6.1 innings. He had one bad inning. In that inning he let up 4 hits. Of course, we also made 2 errors that inning, so that 2 of the hits came after FIVE OUTS had been made. He also struck out the side that inning.
Of the 3 earned runs he let up, one scored on an error, one scored on a home run by roidy mcroiderson, and one scored because by some miracle, the Dodgers were able to get to Neil Cotts, when Zambrano left with one out and a man at first.
So please explain to me how Zambrano's pitching in 2008 had as much to do with the game 2 loss as the terrible fielding?

Rogers doesn't know what he's talking about as usual. Also, he and the rest of the Trib Sports section are trying their damnedest to turn the paper into a tabloid just to sell more. The entire paper is guilty of this, so be prepared for more idiotic statements and ridiculous headline-worthy garbage to come out from this embarrassment of a (formerly great) newspaper.
