Here's something that's kind of interesting. Dunn had as many homers and RBI 18 games into the season as Bradley has now.
Let's see how they stack up today:
Dunn -- .266/.402/.529
18 HR, 50 RBI
Bradley -- .241/.360/.386
5 HR, 16 RBI
Oh...and if you hate Adam Dunn discussions, feel free to ignore this post instead of having a fit and complaining about all of the Adam Dunn talk.
Oh...and I really despise Bradley now. I was willing to give him some leeway for a while, but I'm all the way into the hate camp now.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Adam Dunn also has about 100 more PA than Bradley. Now, that doesn't mean Bradley should have 13 more HR and 20 some more RBI, but comparing the two players is kind of dumb because a) they are 2 different players. Dunn should havebetter power numbers because he is the only decent player in that lineup and B ) if Dunn were a cub he would be hitting .220 right now. Easily.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
So let me get this straight. You think we should penalize Dunn cause he plays every day? I think his point was that Bradley hasn't even been in the lineup. And do you think by being the only decent player in a lineup you get better or worse pitches to hit?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
No, I think it is unfair to compare the players. And while Dunn will get less pitches to see, he also is going to be getting a majority of the RBIs
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
It's definitely unfair to Bradley.
