That's exactly why the guy upsets me so much. I knew he'd miss time, but I assumed that we'd want him back in the lineup badly each time he'd get injured. He must be so messed up in the head right now.

It's also been a handed thing and a road thing. His splits batting right handed (.294/.385/.471) are good and his splits at home(.269/.367/.500) are good. So if we can just get him to only bat right handed and only play home games, we should be set.

Good thing we got him for his lefty bat. Another brilliant decision by the higher ups.

No, not really, but his career (and 2009) splits suggest that he's a much better RH (.302/.387/.888) hitter than LH (.267/.360/.793), so it kind of calls into question the idea that adding another LH bat such as Bradley makes us more balanced and better overall. Look, I liked the signing at the time, but not for the reasons that our front office gave.

He looked horrible from the right side last night. I saw at least two ABs and didn't see one good swing. He was just sort of stabbing at the ball.
