I'd like to see how he does in High A ball.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
That's a very good point. He is a tools guy, so he may have figured things out. On the other hand, it might all go to shitsville once he hits AA.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
He's had so much success in just his 4th season in the Midwest League. Just think, if we promote him, history suggests he'll be this good in the Florida State League by 2012. He should be MLB-ready by 2020 and all star caliber by 2024.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Because that is EXACTLY how it works. But remember, you have to take into account the fact you are lying about his time in the Midwest league, since this is the beginning of his third season in the Midwest league, not his fourth, so he has that going for him. It doesn't matter that he is the youngest OF on the team, what DOES matter is that he has spent portions of three years in the league.
Speaking of which, maybe we can make a trade of "failed prospects" with the Mets, and they can give us their clearly over matched Fernando Martinez, and we can give them Burke. You know change of scenery kind of thing. That fucking bum played in the Gulf League THREE seasons (2006-08). Now, I'm gonna use my Kid math skills, and the Gulf league is actually lower than the Midwest league, so if he had to play 3 seasons in the Gulf league, that means 3 in the SS league, 3 in A ball, 3 in AA ball, and 3 in AAA, so he won't be ready for the majors for 12 more years. I don't think the Mets want to wait around until 2021 for him to be ready, do you?
Because that is EXACTLY how it works.
