I agree, but again, I think then the problem is who's left on the bench? Fontenot (the only infielder) and Hill (the backup catcher). I think Lou's thought process was that the pitcher's spot will probably get up again and he doesn't want to be stuck.
I disagree with the conclusion, but I'm guessing that's what it was.
