I'd just like to know what positive effects you think it would have because I don't see any.

none of those teams has a fan base. eliminate them and make the rest of the teams more competitive. expansion got out of control for a while. some of those teams should never have exsisted in the first place.
but i'm not saying that ever <i>would</i> happen. just that it <i>should</i>. no doubt about it.

Pittsburgh and Kansas City both have fan bases. The problem is that their teams have been so shitty for so long, that they've tuned out.
