Exactly how I would align it as well.
You make interleague play ongoing throughout the season (not every team playing every team, just spread the existing number of games over the span of 162 instead of a couple of isolated weeks) and there isn't an issue.

With that ballpark the Rockies probably wouldn't have an issue, Coors is made for a DH. The Astros remain in the NL and Texas continues to have an NL and an AL team for the people that would be bothered by that. It really needs to get done and it's astounding to me that Selig hasn't already done it.
