Which 6 teams would you propose to axe?
- Nationals
- Marlins
Who else? Any other team I can think of is either profitable or has fairly solid fanbase.

Maybe Pittsburgh, but they have a lot of history. Up until last season, Tampa would have been on the short list, and maybe even KC. None of those are clear cut, but you could make a case for others. It just isn't a compelling case considering how teams from leagues that are in much worse shape than MLB, like NHL and some NBA teams, are in no danger of contraction.
