yeah, but Belushi tries to work his love of the Cubs and the Bears into everything he does. He's not a poser at all.
Cusack is a bit of a bandwagon jumper, but that will never spoil the fact he was Lloyd Dobler.

From what I've heard, The Beloosh is one of the biggest assholes in the entertainment industry -- which you could look past if he had a modicum of talent.
Cusack...I hated him with a passion in 2005 when he jumped on the wagon and sported a White Sox hat. He also wore a Sox hat in "1408." I wished death on him during that time. My anger with Cusack has receded somewhat since then. But it will never be like it was before 2005. I was a huge fan before that debacle. If he bought a stake in the Cubs, I would actually like him more. It would signal a movement back towards the righteous camp...

Hmm, I don't recall that tidbit from 1408. I wonder how I missed that.

Yeah. It's pretty close to the beginning. He checks into one of the haunted hotels (not the one the story revolves around) and kicks back on the bed, wearing a Sox hat. I don't think you see it again after that, but it didn't escape my attention.
