From a chat from the guy from Baseball America:
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Mike: (Chicago, IL):: So besides Josh Vitters, is there anybody in the cubs system that I should get excited about, such as a Chris Carpenter or Dan McDaniel?
Ben Badler: RHP Jay Jackson, their ninth-round pick from last year who's already in Double-A. He got off to a so-so start, but at this time last year the guy was a two-way player at Furman. His last start was outstanding, his peripherals are solid and the stuff, especially his fastball and slider, are legitimate weapons.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
