Fontenot's 0 for 12 against lefties this year, and has a career .212 batting average and .599 OPS against them. He shouldn't be playing against lefties at all, but if he is, shouldn't be batting higher than 7th until he can show he's capable of hitting them.
Reed's a career .311 hitter with an .833 OPS against lefties.
