Is Chris Robinson about to pull a Soto? The guy is all the sudden raking in Iowa after struggling through the minors. He's always been known as a plus defender, so it wouldn't be so bad if he turned out to be a good backup for Soto with great defensive skills.
It's early, but nice to see Robinson step up his game. I had high hopes for him when we got him from Detroit because he had a reputation as a high contact, great defensive catcher. I'd be pretty happy to get a really good defensive catcher to fill in for Soto every 5th or 6th game (although I'm very happy with Hill right now).
