Meh. This was a distinct possibility since A-Ram was hurt. I'm surprised it took this long. There's nobody left to play the infield. The other options are Soriano at 2B or Zambrano at 3B.

Yeah, but I don't think he can be faulted for going with a righty in that spot when they bring in Pinto.

Agreed. A single(which Reed had if not for a ridiculous play) wins it there, and his chances of doing that are much better than Fontenot. If you've gotta shot to win the game, you do everything possible to do so and worry about the rest later.
