Personally, it has only been 30 years for me and for most of the site it has only been 20-35 years. What the Cubs did before my time I honestly could not care less about, it doesn't matter.
As fans, we bring the misery upon ourselves. We get so worked up (I am guilty also) about how this team does that we let it ruin our days when in reality, baseball is just a game played my overpaid adults that don't care one way or another whether we are happy or not.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
oh, thirty years? well that changes everything. for me, 30 years is a lifetime. and the cubs bring this misery on us, we just accept that misery. if the cubs won, the misery would go away.
but thrty years? yeah thats nothing. i'm 39 by the way. if i was 101, i guess it would be okay to bitch. but i'm only 39, so everything is A-OK. my dad is gonna be 73 next week. is it ok for him to be miserable?
