I feel the same way about this site. Whenever the Cubs lose more than 2 games in a row, it's fucking suicidal in here. It's god damn April, we've had a bunch of nagging little injuries and we're still over .500. It sucks when the Cubs play bad and it depresses me, but to read most of your posts and you'd think it was September and we were 25 games back.
It's not about heart, it's not about DeRosa, it's not about Wood. It's a rough patch that's magnified by it being early in the season, end of story. For people that have presumably watched baseball alot in their lives, some of you don't seem to have the perspective of a baseball season when you are basing your beliefs on one week in the first month.

101 years of losing will do that to a person. i don't know how to have perspective because my perspective is always negative, because the cub experience is always negative. some day (2012) when we finally win a world series, my perspective will completely change, because the monkey will finally be off our backs. then the world will end.
