I don't agree.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Oh, ok. You know, if you had just said up front that you were retarded, we could have avoided this whole exchange.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Yeah, because it's reasonable to think 2 guys approaching 30 years old that have never done anything on the MLB level can replace Lee and the Cubs can reinvest $10 M in a difference maker without giving up something to get that difference maker.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I'm glad we agree.
(psst - offensively, Lee is not exactly difficult to replace anymore)
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Nope, but Hoffpauir and Fox aren't gonna do it.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You're right, they <i>aren't</i>, but they certainly <i>could</i>. And considering Lee's continued and predictable decline, someone is going to have to replace him.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You're right, someone will have to replace him and if this team has any aspirations of being successful, he won't be replaced by Micah Hoffpauir and Jake Fox. A Hoffpauir/Fox-type platoon is something teams that don't win do.

Take a look at the team that just spent two days kicking our ass and get back to me.
