<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <!--quotec-->Chad Gaudin struck out seven in five scoreless innings for Triple-A Portland on Thursday.
He allowed just two hits and walked none. Gaudin, who was released by the Cubs at the end of the spring, opted to sign with the Padres because he'd have a chance to start, and it looks like he may be in the team's rotation before long with the way he's progressing. He hasn't given up a run in two starts for Portland.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I just saw that and was baout to post it. That and Sharks shitty performance yesterday may have changed my mind a bit.
