Too sensitive for Chicago fans. It looks good on paper but not in reality. Fans are world series crazy and with a good team the expectations for each game magnified. Let's just hope that Hoff can play a solid RF for a long stretch.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Yeah, I'm going to wait until he plays a few weeks before I dismiss him for Hoff.

IF he plays he is better. I just think he will be very fragile. If he was hitting .400 and a few dingers his injuries wouldn't bother him near as much.

Groin injuries usually take awhile to heal. When he gets healthy, he is going to hit. Unless you think his 23 at bats this season are more representative to how he'll play this season.

Baron - I agree with you that you can't evaluate him on 23 ABs. I'd look at his career #s. .278/.369/.455 Nice...but is it 3/30mm (assuming 75 games in 2010) nice given what other FA OFs had to settle for this offseason? I don't know...
I hope fans stay off his case when he gets back. He seems to be the type that really doesn't handle the negativity very well.
