An outsider's viewpoint:
QUOTE Jason (Iowa): Jayson, what is your take on the Milton Bradley incident yesterday. Looked to me like there were a couple questionable calls in a pivatol point in the game.
Jayson Stark: I know there's talk that Milton Bradley could be suspended, but I don't see what he did that would merit a suspension. Strike one in that at-bat was borderline. Strike three was a flat-out missed call. And I think both the umpires and Bob Watson need to take into account the competitive emotions that build up in competitive players in big spots in a game. I know Milton has a reputation, but that should be no factor in the decision on whether to discipline him or not.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
