I love Sgt Peppers, don't get me wrong, I just think it's slightly overrated as an album...then again, i didn't live in the 60s and listen to it for the first time which according to many people I've talked to was an experience they'll never forget.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
"sgt peppers" is one of my least favorite albums. vastly overrated in my book, with the exception of "a day in the life" which is one of my all time favorite songs. like phan, i don't hate the album, i just like a lot of others better.
for me, "abbey road" is as good as it gets as far the beatles are concerned. i love george harrisons work and "something" and "here comes the sun" are amazing songs. the two medleys on the second side are amazing as well.

I'm right there with you. "Abbey Road" is tops for me. My top 5 looks like this
1. Abbey Road
2. Revolver
3. Rubber Soul
4. White Album
5. Sgt Peppers
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
wow, thats very similar to mine:
1. abbey road
2. magical mystery tour
3. revolver
4. the white album
5. rubber soul
if "the white album" would have been one record with a lot of the fat trimmed off, it would be #1 or #2. too many weak songs bring it down for me.
