I rarely even chuckled at Abbot and Costello. Laurel and Hardy, either.
Loved the Marx Brothers, and laughed pretty loudly at early Charlie Chaplin.

I was raised on The Marx Brothers. Watching them with my dad remains one of my fondest memories.
The Stooges WERE funny...Chaplin was brilliant, and gets props for setting a course for movie comedy. Abbott and Costello were funny...Laurel and Hardy were brilliant...Buster Keaton was awesome.
