The Cuban pitcher is down right nasty - Albertin (Aroldis) Chapman. Leftie who throws a 100mph fastball with a downright nasty low 70's curve. He is currently not signed to any MLB team at the moment. If I were the Cubs I would be armed with a chequebook and a greencard for this guy.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
This guy is totally sick. It's a little different with Cuba though as they have to actually defect to join the MLB. It certainly happens, but at this rate he'll probably go to the White Sox.

Yeah, in 5 years, the Sox are gonna have the entire Cuban All Star team on the field. I forget who the scout is out there arranging all these deals for them, but he needs to be investigated.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
They've only gotten 2 guys directly from Cuba, Ramirez and Viciedo (who looks like a fat tub of shit).
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Ramirez is way better than I thought he would be. Viciedo is too fat for first, but he can apparently can rake. He'll probably end up in LF or 1B next year. They also have Contreras and a spanish speaking manager. I think Cubans are very comfortable going there and they probably have a leg up because of it.
