If I ever had to watch the opposing pitcher go from 1st to 3rd again on a single due to Pierre's weak-ass noodle arm, I might do myself some serious harm.
Even during his "good" second half, his OBP was .340 -- which is OK, but not great. He also got caught stealing 10 out of 38 tries. That's a 73% success rate. So whatever good came of him stealing second when successful, was pretty much canceled out by all the times he was thrown out.
When speed is your only asset and you can't even steal bases at an acceptable rate, you don't qualify as an everyday player.
The only way I could hate Pierre more is if he ended up on the White Sox somehow.
