That's retarded. He singlehandedly put them in the playoffs last year, he's the best hitter in baseball, and you absolutely can't give him more then a 2 year deal. He's worth every cent of this deal.

I understand what he did for the team last year, hell, he should have probably been the NL MVP. I am not saying it is a bad deal for the Dodgers, I just wish they would have sent a message to Manny and his agent and lowered the offer. I have no doubt that Manny is going to produce for them because I bet he still sees another contract in his future.
